產(chǎn)品描述：ColchicineColchicine is a tubulin inhibitor, it blocks polymerization of microtubules by binding to tubulin (IC50 = 3.2 μM). _x000D_ IC50 Value: 3.2 μM_x000D_ Target: Microtubule/Tubulin_x000D_ Colchicine causes apoptosis of cells by acting on tissue plasminogen activators (tPA) and disrupting the cytoskeleton of cells. Exposure of cells to Colchicine has also been reported to result in alterations of Ca2+ concentrations in cells which may also result in apoptosis. Since increased rate of mitosis is associated with cancer cell proliferation, blocking microtubule function with Colchicine has been used as an approach to anti-cancer therapy. For instance, Colchicine blocks the growth of MCF-7 human breast carcinoma cells with an IC50 value of 13 nM.
