It is a key intermediate for the synthesis of new insecticides and acaricides. On Pesticides It’s used for the synthesis of herbicides, acaricides, fungicides. It’s used in medicine for the synthesis of antihypertensive drugs. Used as foaming agent on plastics, can enhance the mechanical strength and thermodynamic stability of plastic, but also as intermediate for dye, food additives, sweetener.It can be used for the synthesis of carbodiimide as polyurethane auxiliaries, epoxy resin curing agent and other organic synthesis.
